Meghann Belser

My name is Meghann Belser, and I am a designer. Well, not totally. I like to think of myself as more than "just a designer". I am an artist, a designer, a developer, a photographer. I am inspired by everything that surrounds my life and these inspirations reflect in all of my work.

Based in Long Island, New York, I pride myself in my eager imaginative work style, and edgy, contemporary designs. Having been involved in arts since a young age, I have a true sense of natural art skills which are often put to use on my web and graphic designs as well as my photography. I like to believe that with this career, a piece of paper doesn’t prove who you are as an artist; your portfolio does.

Art has always been a subject that has come extremely natural to me. I remember sitting in the doorway as a child drawing characters from "The Lion King" and other Disney movies. Shortly after that my parents blessed me with my first horse, and from there, every drawing revolved around him. Every waking moment (outside school, of course!) I was in the barn and was able to watch every movement and every muscle of this magnificent animal, which only helped strengthen my skill on a canvas.

By the time High School came around, the arts consumed my life. By Junior year, I had completed every art course available- from drawing, painting, ceramics, even mixed medias. It was at this point my Art teacher did the best thing she could have done, she allowed me to create my own form of art. It was at this turning point I got the chance to really dive head first into graphic design, web design, and photography. I had the opportunity to earn credit for my work, mix the modern graphic arts with fine arts, and earn multiple awards for something that was just fun for me.

Since then I've had the priveledge of designing near 100 websites with multiple firms, located within the New York City metro area, as well as the Philadelphia metro area. My photography has been listed in a variety of magazines, and I have had the opportunity to have several magazine covers as well as inside covers. My fine arts are still alive, often doing work to Auction with proceeds benefiting local horse rescues. So why choose me?
